Taro & Sangeet 2009 pt8 - The Final Drive Home

After saying goodbye to Sangeet in Terrigal, Taro and I set off at 5 in the morning from Terrigal for the long beautiful drive back home to Brisbane. On completion of the trip we had shared driving for 4500km, starting from Brisbane and Byron, taking a big drive through central NSW to Wangaratta, Castlemaine and Melbourne, then through Canberra and Sydney back home to Brisbane again. Thanks for taking the big journey with me Taro-bhai and Sangeet-bhai! Here are some scenes from that final 1000km...

The Big Banana, Coffs Harbour

Gurudwara (Sikh Temple) in Woolgoolga

We planned a stop at Corindi Beach, but it didn't turn out to be as nice as hoped. Bit pebbly. Anyway we had a holy dip in the ocean and the waves were kind of fun as long as you didn't go more than knee deep.

Another of Taro's end of tour rainbows - o-tsukareinbow?

The Big Prawn, Ballina
