• Sat 28 Oct Fortitude Valley: Valley Fiesta feat. Calrissian - Calrissian features Ashley Farlow on electric drumkit, playing a variety of samples as well as drum and percussion sounds, along with myself on tabla, Jim Sinclair on guitar, and Richard Grantham on viola. 2017 NOVEMBER

• Sat 4 Nov Gold Coast: Spirit of Bhakti @ Summer Infinite ReConnection ReTreat - Lovely little show by devotional vocal group Spirit of Bhakti in the beautiful Numinbah Valley. I totally would have stayed on at the retreat except that I had to race off for the Kathak show in Brisbane that evening...

• Sun Nov 5 Quick trip to Sydney for a tabla lesson with Pt Pooran Maharaj, while I had the chance.

• Sun 19 Nov Coorparoo: Shenzo Gregorio plays 40 hours for motor neuron disease - I got up before dawn to join Flamenco guitarist Gerard Mapstone in supporting Shenzo Gregorio's effort to play non-stop for 40 hours as a fund raiser for motor neuron disease. Well done Shenzo!
  
  : Oxley: DEAI - Butoh performance / workshop / house cooling party - My first performance on piano for a while, in which I played "Moonlight Sonata" (first movement) and Gnossienne 1 on the 100 year old Beale piano I first learnt music on at 14 years old, as accompaniment to the first performance of my partner Yuki Taniguchi's original Butoh dance piece DEAI.

• Sat 16 Dec Chenrezig: Tibet2Timbuk2 - an annual event for Tibet2Timbuk2.
  
  
• Sun 17 Dec Byron: Scott Benning (sitar) and Shen (tabla) - Thanks to Sydney-based sitarist Scott Benning for inviting me to come and accompany him at his concert in Byron. We had a lovely musical time.
